Language Teachers, The French Traveler welcomes you to our 2010 Professional Development Workshop: Le Sud De La France : 3-14 juillet 2011

Our language and culture immersion workshops, designed especially for teachers of French, focus on contemporary cultural issues in France today. Each summer we host our workshop in a different city of France (see list), so repeat participants are frequent. Morning seminars present various aspects of the current burning issues in France, and afternoon excursions to places of cultural and historical significance enhance your understanding of the language you teach and the culture you love. Optional activities are available to deepen your knowledge and appreciation of France when you’re not otherwise occupied in your leisure time. Our participants come from many different places and add to the eclectic ambiance, offering opportunities for endless shop talk. Ça va sans dire, the language of the workshop is strictly French. Each participant receives a certificate of attendance at the end of the workshop, and you may also earn 85 Professional Development Points for your efforts.
